I just dont understand...

How can someone, anyone, say they support the troops when they say that they are "brainwashed" and "idiots"? How can someone say they "know" what is going on in Iraq and Afghanistan when they haven't and apparently won't talk to any that have been there? How can they say they know about military maneuvers when they have never spend one single day in uniform? I am hurt and tired of hearing this. I am trying my best to be strong and hold it together but there are times I can't take the willing ignorance and the hypocrisy of it all. I know who my husband is is. I know how good of a soldier he is. I know why he went into the National Guard after being out of active duty for 7yrs. So how can someone who knows what job my husband had when we got married, knows what he is doing now, say those things about soldiers? We have a very close friend who was injured in Iraq and Afghanistan, he would go back with his boys if he could. Why is he "brainwashed"? He would know what is going on better than anyone, right? I am hurt. My husband has been alerted to go to Afghanistan in 18mths. I refuse to talk to anyone that believes my husband is "brainwashed" or an "idiot" just because he wants to go and it is duty to go. He joined in wartime, we know and knew what could be in store. There isn't more I can say.

Loving our military,

April B
