So sorry :-)

I am so sorry about the abruptness of the note the other day. I should have put a smiley face by it or something. I am still trying to get things squared away. My husband and I were talking about dreams the other day and here is one I had recently...it was lovely. It showed how simple I long for life to be.

A cabin in the mountains...

A cozy library...
This is actually from this blog.

An organic garden to tend to with my children...

Looking at a mountain sunrise in the quiet of the day while anticipating what the Lord has in store...

For my children to long to learn and being in the midst of God's creation...

Looking at a mountain sunset with my family and talk about the blessings the Lord has bestowed on us and thank Him...

What is funny as I look at these pictures is that I have most of these already! I don't have the cabin in the mountains, I don't have the cozy home library, or the mountain sunrise and sunset. But I do have beautiful home with every room full of wonderful books. The sunrise and sunset in NE GA is beautiful and needs to be and is looked at in awe with my family. My children love learning about creation and being in the midst of it. It is awe inspiring how they relish every moment of it. Maybe my dream was a way for the Lord to show me that I do have it all and He is the source of it all. May we praise Him with all we have and do!!!

Love, live, laugh & learn!

Having a cabin (in the woods) is one of my husband and my dreams too. Although where we live now is quite beautiful. We live on a rural country dirt road, quaint old farm houses surround us and we have more land than we know what to do with. God has blessed us!

I 've read your posts on MOMYS, one in particular was a book list with cookiing/baking ideas to go with each book. I lost the list, well actually my computer erased the messages in my inbox and that MOMYS digest was one of them. Can you post it on your blog?

I haven't been on MOMYS in a long time. What books are you referring to?

I think it was you that posted the book list. Example: You read the book "Give a Mouse a Cookie" and then you make Choc. Chip cookies, read "Stone Soup" and make soup. Those were just a few examples.....there was a long list of books with ideas.

Are you sure it was me? When was it? I haven't posted but a few times since they now require you to have 4 or more children in an 8yr time span to post on all the boards. Either my name was Peridotmama or April B or April Br. If it was a few years ago, I am sorry, I don't recall. But I did find this and I will post it in the blog. I hope this helps. :-)

I'm sorry, I must be mistaken. Several months back on the MOMYS digest a lady with an email browniebunch asked for suggestions for book and recipe ideas, she was compiling. She compiled all the suggestions and sent one big list to the digest. That's why when I ran across your blog I thought it was you.
Thank you for the resource you found, it looks good, I printed it out. I will have to post on MOMYS to find out who compiled the list I was talking about.
Thank you!
